When she was a toddler, we took her to circus day in Ridgeland. As we entered, we passed where they were letting kids ride real horses; Carly wanted to ride the horses which we thought were too big for her. She refused to ride the Merry-go-round or the trains or any other kiddy ride even though several of her friends were riding.
She insisted she wanted to ride the real horses; if she won't ride the Merry-go-round, certainly she won't ride a real horse, we all thought; wrong, she not only rode the horse, even though there was a long line, the lady took her around again before we could coax her off. She seems to have been born with a love for horses. I think we have a cowgirl on our hands.
