Despite the spelling in the obit, I'm fairly certain that Raymon spelled his name without the d. Ironically, Carole's grandfather, Raymon Tackett, also omitted the d.
I hadn't read this obit in some time and am struck by how young Raymon was when he became ill. He would have been only 56 or 57.
Raymon was not able to attend Carole and my wedding on April 2, 1966 and died on June 2, 1966 exactly two months later.
