Prayer Requests

Gloria reports that Jenny Rigby, the fifteen year old daughter of Joel and Vicki Rigby is in Memphis for treatment of moyamoya; please keep Jenny in your prayers.

Amy Bostick will go in the hospital for an operation on Wednesday; keep her in your prayers as well.

On a personal note, a dear friend of Carole and mine, suffered from moyamoya and after an operation several months ago is fully recovered.

Also, as many of you know, Amy is related to me through her mother and to Carole through her father.

Sympathy to the family of Reed Hester whose obituary was in yesterday's Journal.

A belated thank you to all those who helped with the homecoming. I tis always dangerous to single folks out for fear I will forget someone, but here goes; thanks to Neicy Grant, Charlotte Diggs, Jean Willis, Bill Martin, Sandra Monts, Cathy Johnson Garrett and especially the co-chair Burma Schumpert whose help and advice was indispensable.

Also, thanks to Bill Horton, Kenneth Jones, Jerry Hall and all the staff at the school.

Thanks to Mrs. Sue Arnold and her assistants for the wonderful food and for being such a pleasure to work with.

After cataract surgery, I can see well at a distance, but not so well up close which makes working on the computer an adventure, so help me edit my postings as I am keying this blind.
