Flowing Water

Post Thanksgiving

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We spent the day, as we have for the past fifteen years or so, in Pontotoc at the home of Paul and Laney Sims. Tip, that's what we call him, is, as many of you may know, the pastor of First Baptist in Nettleton.

First Baptist Plantersville Children

Brother Danny's wife, Karen, send this picture with these comments: "I am enclosing attaching a picture of some members of the childrens handbell choir who shopped and filled 11 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. The boxes will be shipped to under privileged children around the world.

Just a note for you, the Tinker Bells were the first handbell group we started with 2-3 grade girls. We have started a second group, "The Joyful Noise" with 1-3 grade boys and girls. The two groups combined become "The Praise Players." The Praise Players will be playing the prelude and postlude for the Community Thanksgiving Service this Sunday night at New Zion Baptist Church."

Identified left to right: Katelynn Wood, Hunter Garrett, Reayanna Gardner, Morgan Clark, Sarah Roper, Selena Lyle, Elisa Garcia and Samantha Chaney.

Amy has sent about fifteen more pictures via Charlotte which I will be posting in the next few days. I still have about ten or so unposted from the previous send. I try to keep up with which ones I've used and which ones I have not, but pardon me if I post the same one twice. Let me know and I'll delete it.
