Hoyle Phillips

While attending a conference in San Francisco in February of 2005, Carole met a young lady from Georgia, and in their discussions Carole mentioned marrying a man from Plantersville. The young lady replied that her grandfather had lived there and taught and coached at the school.

Her grandfather was the late Hoyle Phillips, and in 2005, his wife was still living. I remember Mr. Phillips and think he lived across the street from us. He used to quiz me and Butch on our knowledge of baseball.
