Gloria writes: "Steve had lap band and hernia repair surgery this morning, has been back in the room less than an hour, is doing great but is in a lot of pain, probably because he has 14 HOLES IN HIS STOMACH! The little ones I think are mostly for the lap band procedure, the larger ones (5-6 of them) must be for the hernia(s), not sure how many he had. I have left him in the care of his mother who is deaf as a post and won't mind listening to him groan and cuss.He will be in the hospital 1-2 nights, I was hoping more like 1-2 weeks, so if any of you want to take a shift I will, most reluctantly, let you take mine. He ain't a happy camper which equals not a good patient. Will update as there is more to tell, Gh"
