Pick-ups were not the cool thing then as now. I'm guessing a farmer came to Brother Johnson's bearing gifts, one of the perks of being a pastor in a small farming community. We were regularly supplied with fresh produce, meat, and dairy items. Or it could have been the Parkers, but I don't see a ladder rack.
