Wasn't Woody one of the P'ville tennis players who went on to be on the THS tennis team? Seems there were several who did, and that Cecil took a great deal of pride in that fact.

The house directly across the street from the tennis court was Brother Silas Johnson. The girls in the yard are most likely Betsy & Kathy.
