Elmo was a member of Class of '50, worked for Tyson Foods for many years and died in Carthage, MS in 2005. He and his wife, Dorothy, had 2 girls, and he also had sons by another marriage. He was highly thought of and respected, always having a upbeat outlook and sense of humor.
