These Three Men

I think I know who these three men are, but rather than guess someone confirm their identities. I don't know the young people in the picture.

Cathy Garrett: "It's Ed Parker, Johnny Parker, Gene Monts on the bench, Charlotte
and Pat Grant playing checkers, and Janet Parker peeping over her father's
shoulder."

While I would not have known any of the children, I thought that was Mr. Ed and Gene Monts, and I recognized Johnny Parker from the several pictures already posted of him.
